Olive Perdigon

When to use

The match-the-hatch Perdigon: when olives are coming off and fish are nymphing hard in the runs, an olive body under the resin gives the right colour at the right depth. Fish it 14–16 with a 2.5 mm bead through the riffles and creases ahead of a hatch, dead-drift, and lift at the drift's end — the induced rise reads as the emerging nymph.
