When to use
The dark silhouette Perdigon: on dull days, in peat-tinged or low evening light, a small black slimline nymph often out-fishes the naturals. Fish 16–18 with a 2.0–2.5 mm bead as the dropper over a heavier anchor, dead-drift under the sighter. Pairs naturally with the iron blue hatch the way the Snipe & Purple does in the film.
Imitates
Silhouette food — iron blues, dark olives, midge; the dark option when slim-and-visible beats match-the-hatch.
Team position
Dropper on a Euro leader; light point fly in skinny water.
