When to use
Fished on a floating or slow intermediate line, worked with a slow figure-of-eight or dead-drifted through olive-holding water when trout are nymphing before duns appear on the surface.
Imitates
Olive nymph (Baetis-type swimming nymph) taken by trout sub-surface, especially before and during an olive hatch.
Team position
Point fly, or single nymph on a river leader.
