When to use
A core searching nymph for rivers and stillwaters when trout and grayling are feeding subsurface. Dead-drift it in current or retrieve it slowly on lakes when fish are on nymphs, shrimp or general natural food.
Imitates
General nymph; not one exact insect, but covers many mayfly, caddis and shrimp-like forms.
Team position
Point fly, or single fly under an indicator or on a duo.
