NymphWhen to use
The anchor-fly workhorse: a slotted tungsten bead on a jig hook rides point-up through the rocks, so it fishes the streamy, snaggy water the classic dressing can't. Standard Euro point fly — 3.0–3.5 mm bead in pushy or deep water, 2.5 mm as the everyday weight — with a slimmer nymph on the dropper. In coloured water it is the first fly on (the docs/02 SR-0101 scenario). Carry two weights of it and change bead before you change fly.

Everything shaggy and edible — caddis, olives, shrimp; the buggy general searcher of the Euro box.
