When to use
A classic Irish and loch-style bob fly for trout, sea trout, salmon and rainbows. It is chosen when you want a dark, lively surface-near wet on the top dropper.
Imitates
Attractor wet or bumble; suggests buzzer, beetle or general movement rather than a precise hatch match.

Top dropper (bob); often fished ahead of a nymph or dabbler point fly.
